Sub Plans
Greet the students along the outside wall before coming into the classroom. Instruct them to march around the room to the warm up video below. Between yoga moves, tell them simon says and say one of the following; clap your hands, stomp your feet, snap your fingers, pat your legs, jump up and down, hands in the air!
After the warm up video ends, instruct them to sit on a yellow or blue square. If there are extra kids, find a seat for them n the middle.

Warm - Up: Start the video 30 seconds in. While they march around the room do simon says, clap hands, stomp feet, snap fingers, jump, craw like a bear, clap repeat::/
Activity One: Watch this video and learn about the orchestra instruments. Keep lights on. Remind studnets to remain crisscross and no talking if they want lights off and to lay down during the read aloud.
Activity Two: Remind students to stay on their square. Walk around and remind kids to stay on their square.
Activity Four: Concert
Have students sit crisscross in their square and watch the performance. Remind them to show respect by not talking during the performance and clap at the end to show their appreciation.

Activity Four: Rhythm Sticks Before handing out the sticks, tell them they must play them on the carpet. As you hand them out, tell them to leave them alone until its time to play. Take up individule kids sticks if they use them wrong.

Activity Four: Watch Movie & pass out colors. Hand out the wolf, Grandpa, or Duck picture. Colors are on the counter by the sink. If they finish coloring early, tell them to free draw on the back.
Extra Activity: Read aloud. Feel free to let kids lay down and turn the light out to relax.
