Crockett Elementary Choir Expectations
Directed by Mr. Ainsworth


Welcome to Crockett Elementary Choir! We are so excited that your child is part of the choir this year. Choir Club is a place where students grow in confidence, creativity, teamwork, responsibility, and leadership. Our goal is to create a positive, safe, and encouraging environment where every student can shine both on and off the stage. Participation in choir is a privilege and a commitment. We ask all students and families to carefully review the following expectations before auditions and rehearsals begin.

School Behavior Expectations
Students participating in choir are expected to demonstrate excellent behavior throughout the school day and at all school-related activities.
  • Students must maintain strong academic and behavioral standing.
  • Students should have no detentions or office referrals while participating in choir
  • Any disciplinary concerns may result in removal from the club at the discretion of Mr. Ainsworth.
  • Students are expected to maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive attitude during:
    • School hours
    • Rehearsals
    • Performances
    • School events
    • Any activity representing Crockett Elementary Choir

Rehearsal Expectations
  • students are expected to sing their songs and memorize the lyrics for each song
  • More than two missed rehearsals may result in removal from the program at the discretion of Mr. Ainsworth

Rehearsal Pick-Up Policy
  • Rehearsals will end at 4:15 PM.
  • Students must be picked up no later than 15 minutes after rehearsal ends.
  • 2 late pick-ups could affect a student’s participation

Performance Expectations
  • Students are expected to attend every performance
  • Students must have an adult present at every performance at all times
  • Students are expected to represent Crockett Elementary School with respect at all times.

Audition Expectations
To participate in auditions, students must:
  • Submit the required Google Form to sign-up
  • Auditions will be on September 1st during club hours.

Final Thoughts
Crockett Elementary Choir is more than just a club — it is a family.  We are committed to creating an experience where students feel challenged, encouraged, supported, and celebrated. We hope every child leaves this program with new friendships, stronger confidence, unforgettable memories, and a love for singing. Thank you for supporting your child and helping us create something truly special together. We are excited to see the incredible talent, hard work, and joy this year’s production will bring to our stage.
